Doctoral Consortium will be held on December 19, 2008 - the first day of the Conference. This programme is intended for doctoral students though others are welcome to attend. Doctoral students interested in presenting a paper in the Consortium must electronically submit an extended abstract of their research, clearly indicating the research questions addressed and the progress made towards answering those questions. Activities of the Consortium will include research presentations, panel discussion, tutorial session and a get-together. Papers presented would be evaluated for the Best Student Paper award.

Submission Details

Doctoral students are invited to submit an extended abstract of 4 pages (single spaced, Times New Roman, 11 pt font, and 1 inch margin). Authors should submit their extended abstract electronically in any one Microsoft Word (.doc files); PDF (.PDF files); LaTeX (.tex files); postscript (.ps files) Word documents will be preferred.

The abstracts sent by the candidates currently involved in research will be reviewed by a committee. Based on comments from the referees, the corresponding author would be notified about acceptance or rejection of the abstract. Each participant would be given 20 minutes to present their work (including 5 minutes of questions and answers).

Students Registration and Stay
